As we know in environment wide range of corrosive gases are present. The concentration of these harmful gases is high in the environment surrounding chemical plants, Oil & Gas refineries, and any other process industries. H2S, SO2, SO3, NOx, Cl2, HF, NH3, O3 and other harmful compounds play the vital role of major constituents of these corrosive gases. Severity of the environment, rapid shifts in temperature or humidity accelerates the attack of these gases. In case of Electronic equipment's attack of these corrosive gases results in disruption of electrical current flow, loss of signal and equipment failures.
Purafil's patented chemical media removes gaseous pollutants from the air through a unique process known as Chemisorption During this Irreversible Chemisorption process, the corrosive gas molecules gets trapped inside the chemical media & instantaneously gets turned into harmless solids.

We begin by evaluating the type and severity of corrosion in the area of application using Purafil’s Corrosion Classification Coupon. This coupon is then analysed at an ISA-accredited laboratory in the USA, providing a detailed report on the type and concentration of gaseous pollutants present. This analysis ultimately determines the appropriate chemical media needed for that specific environment.
Based on the assessment and the severity of corrosion, we design and install a tailored solution that combines chemical media, filters, and an air cleaning system to address and mitigate the corrosion risks effectively.
To ensure the solution’s effectiveness and confirm that the air quality meets ISA Class G1 standards, we implement a Real-Time Corrosion Monitoring System, providing ongoing verification of air quality and corrosion control.
